Jon’s cartoons are easily some of the top viewed pages on Diagnostic Imaging. He has a great knack for capturing humor in the situations our audience has to deal with. I’m always impressed with how well he understands the audience, and it’s obvious he does his homework to see what’s going on in the field. His cartoons are a great addition to the site and a wonderful opportunity to provide some lighter content to a clinical subject.

As an editor who has worked on a variety of business and technology publications, one of the traits that I look for in a cartoonist – as with a writer – is their eagerness to learn more about what the readership does for a living and the issues that they deal with on a daily basis. Jon Carter excels at that in the work that he does for the All Analytics website. His ideas are fresh and well targeted at our audience, as he highlights what the growing use of technology and data means to our lives and to the analytics pros in our community.

With a quick splash of humor, Jon’s cartoons provide a great entry point for community discussion around hot topics.

Jon is an excellent cartoonist and is also great to work with. He is professional, responsive and always has a quick turnaround time. As a communications publication, we’ve asked him to create cartoons for oftentimes technical and abstruse subjects, but he always gets it and conveys the message in a funny, clear, original way.

Jon Carter creates comics for Psychiatric Times. He is professional, creative, open to suggestions, and always meets our deadlines. He does fantastic work for many other brands across UBM. We recommend him highly.

I have worked with Jon Carter’s cartoons in two different newspapers. Carter drew editorial cartoons for our daily newspaper editorial page, taking a local issue once a week and drawing it out to an extreme, usually using humor to point out the ridiculous side of an argument or political position. His cartoons were often better at this than our longer and more serious editorial commentary. In one case, his caricature of the mayor is credited with her deciding to change her hairstyle. More often, his pithy and off-beat sense of humor made readers chuckle over the week’s news, even as he made them think a little about it.

We’ve used Jon to create a comic strip on topics we deal with in our own industry and he has been a huge help in ensuring the success of this project. We’re on our 34th week of comics with Jon and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve always been grateful for how quickly he is able to turnaround our requests for comics, many times at the last minute! We highly recommend him for his talent, responsiveness, and professionalism. Thank you, Jon!

Jon has created cartoons for our annual forklift rodeo for several years, and I get a lot of feedback from the other 8 corporate locations on how much they love his work. It’s really remarkable how his work has spread into our t-shirts, Powerpoint presentations and posters. He just keeps the ideas coming, and I look forward to working with him on his designs every year!
